Guild Wars 2

Hello guys from Arenanet sorry for disturbing but today me and my girlfriend and I bet a lot of people bought the Deluxe package, we have been wishing to buy it from when we started the game but I tried using it today and it tells me that its disabled… my gf is a little bit kitten about it, wondering if that would be something you guys will be fixing or giving something else to the ppl who bought it and weren’t able to enjoy it before eliminating the influence merchants of PvP…
I really hope an answer from you guys and sorry for any disturbance I aint trying to cause any trouble but it was a bad time we got because of it.. it is just that we don’t understand why would you guys remove something without the correction ready..

The Chalice of Glory included with the Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of Guild Wars 2 recently began granting the wrong reward and as a result, it temporarily has been disabled. The description of this item was changed in the March 18 game update to indicate that the chalice would grant 5,000 PvP Rank Points. This change was intended because Glory will be removed from the game in the near future. However, due to a game bug, the Chalice continued to grant Glory instead of the intended Rank Points.

If you purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition, Collector’s Edition, or Digital Deluxe Upgrade on or after March 18, please do the following:

• If you still have the item:
  - It will not work when you click on it. Do not delete the item!
  - We will either repair or replace the item in the near future to ensure you get 5,000 PvP Rank Points.

If you already have used the item:
You will receive an in-game mail in the near future, with an item which grants 5,000 PvP Rank Points.

We really appreciate your comprehension during this time. Please do not hesitate on contacting us again if you have further questions.

Oh cool. It clearly says we’ll get compensated. So I guess I’ll just wait it out? No point in spamming them with tickets that they’re already working on. I’m sure they’re already busy enough.

Yeah, I got a response pretty quick to my ticket (~6 hours), but I sent it in fairly early in the morning of the sale. For the record I haven’t gotten the replacement item. I’m assuming they’ll do it for everyone at once, and they’ll probably have to drop some kind of patch or something to fix the item. So it is just a waiting game at this point if I’m right.

Thanks for the posts and updates (yay search feature lol) I will just hold onto mine in the bank and hope April 15th patch will replace it when they do a big check on our items already for skins

For those that have not seen the new announcement regarding the Chalice of Glory, they’ve made an official statement of the situation and how it will be resolved. I know a dev post elsewhere made mention of it being disabled until it is fixed, , but it is nice to see official word regarding replacements instead of going off of support responses.

I wonder if they’ll get it out before the feature patch on the 15th. As they’ve said they are going to give out a transmutation charge per pvp rank you had at the time of the patch. I’m not sure where that puts us with this?
