Ok, I finally was able to get back into the game tonight after a few hours. I started running through the Dry Top area to open the map, get POI’s and skill point, when I went to change one of my utility skills the gear option is gone.

I cannot change my utility skills now. What is going on with the game?

I’ve had that happen on the platform of the diving goggles in Dry Top… kinda noticed when I wanted to switch in portal haha. But relogging or using a transformation tonic fixed it for me.

The game feels you are ‘in combat’, so removes the option to change your skills. It can happen at Vistas, etc., as well. Sometimes, just moving to another area works; sometimes, you need to waypoint or re-log.

That issue was supposed to have been fixed a while back :/

Bugs do happen and even old bugs can occur again but ugh. Relogging sucks when you want to be on a specific copy of a map again.

Yea…I got the response from Anet that because I was in combat (which I was not, just had not put my weapon away) that the options were not available yet.

You would think this would have been fixed when it was first reported. But so many bugs are reintroduced with new updates and I have no idea how good their source code management is …which could also be part of the problem.

I’d definitely reply back and say that although the weapon is out, you can plainly see that in the picture you are not in combat >.<

They just didn’t look at that…
