Hi. I am elementalist and i m really sufferring from the following issue. I always put my “i-wont-sell-those” items to the bottom of my inventory which is in a invisible bag. But the problem is if i change scepter-dagger to staff, one of my weapons is always goes to the top place. Sometimes i end up with salvaging or selling my main weapon due to this.

So while this is not a bug, there might be a handy solution to this.

This isn’t a bug, it’s intentional for elementalists because of their element swapping. I would like to suggest trying an equipment bag/box as your gear will default to that bag first, unless it’s full.

Well im not sure if you did understand me or not. It has 0 releated to attunment swap.

All i want my off-hand wepaon to go where it was when i equip it, not randomly to the top.

I place it bottom and i equip it then when i unequip it, it goes to the top, well annoying.

The unequipped item goes to the first available slot in your inventory, starting from the top left. Pretty much every game ever does this. Nothing random about it.

But if you unequip 1:1 ratio like swapping staff to greatsword, it goes where the equipped item was.

you can do the opposite and put the items you want to sell in the bottom plus the things you want to salvge there too. as the game by defult puts the things in the top, so put things your not concerned about in the bottom
