I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”
- Jareth, King of Goblins.
Once upon a time GW2 had a developer looking out for character art bugs. The stickied thread for these reports was commented on and regularly closed and refreshed as reports were complied and submitted.
It wasn’t a lot of feedback, but it was a good way of reassuring us these details were being paid attention to and the corresponding patch notes when they got fixed were always welcome.
This monthly thread has now been languishing for 2 years as the place where well documented visual issues about our characters go to die.
Please get a new curator for the thread(s) and bring back the monthly updates.
Thank you.
I just read the thread.. I’m surprised there was no complaint about the shackles of madness having rigid chains…
All 22 pages? Wow!
Does anyone know if Josh Davis is still with ArenaNet?
If not, who is the point of contact for character art issues?
Of course he is; he’s the Associate Global Brand Manager. You can see him often on ArenaNet’s live streams, at conventions, posting in the forums, etc.
Not affiliated with ArenaNet or NCSOFT. No support is provided.
All assets, page layout, visual style belong to ArenaNet and are used solely to replicate the original design and preserve the original look and feel.
Contact /u/e-scrape-artist on reddit if you encounter a bug.
