Guild Wars 2

Hi, I am playing a human thief and a couple of days ago i completed the first story arc (I did the following quests: Desperate Medicine, Infiltration and Arson at the Orphanage ) So naturally the game said I need to be level 20 to continue my story, so I went with some exploring and discovered Lion’s Arch and then Gendarrian fields and then went back to Queensdale where I started completing some hearts but I eventually got bored and logged out (At that point I was either at Krytan Freeholds or Queen’s forest).
BUT when I logged in today I was back in Divinity’s reach and was level 13 (even though when I looged out last time I was lvl 14/15) and my upcoming quest was once again Infiltration … also Lion’s Arch, Gendarrian Fields, Krytan Freeholds and Queen’s forest were unexplored meaning my account was literally set back for some reason, why is this happening and what should I do?
PS: before this I noticed that whenever I log in I spawn at a different place than I logged out (either Divinity’s reach or in the Village of Shaemor) but my xp remained the same as when I logged out.

There was a rollback on patch day due to some massive bug. It seems that you were hit with that. This sucks, but the rollback was the only chance to fix the wrong state in the database for everyone. (Stuff like randomly rebound soulbound items.)

Thanks, but what about my other issue that I described in the PS section, I never spawn in the same place that I log out at ?

About your issue about not being put back where you left… Does it happen frequently, like all times? Does the game close normally and fine when you log off? Usually the game will put you at a “default” location (mostly south of the northern portal at Lion’s Arch) when it can’t “recall” your last location (maybe due some miscommunication between client and servers) or something went wrong when the client reported your last location to the servers.

Well actually I tested this today multiple times and seems that everything is working fine now, all my characters pick up right where they left :S But before that I always spawned at the village of shaemoor whenever i would log back in while in queensdale, well anyway tnx for the help, I’m glad the issue solved itself lol
