Do you guys use DSR (High resulotion) in graphic settings?

It’s not gamebreaking but it IS disconcerting. Upon character creation, my character zooms in and drops down so that rather than the old ‘head and bust’ view, it’s ONLY head, and seems below where it ought to be.
The total makeover kit by contrast shows the position I’m used to:

Hi,
When trying to create a new character, there is a bug when zooming at it. When you zoom in, the character goes too much down the screen, and we can’t see it well.

Not sure if there has been a post about this already, but with a few quick searches I couldn’t find any. There’s a bug in the character creation that zooms in on the top of the head instead of the face. On other races it’s a small annoyance, but on asura it makes the entire creation really frustrating since you can only see from eyes upwards.

This bug has been around for a while now and I’ve brushed it off with “I’m sure anet will fix it soon enough.” However, now it’s been quite a while and it really makes messing with the settings hard. So, I was wondering if there had been any news on this matter? Maybe word on when it will be fixed, or if anet staff has even learned of this little bug?

Been there for months and with all the bugs from patch I don’t think they will touch it any time soon. It has been frustrated and it looks like Anet dont give a darn care .

I am currently creating a norn and for some reason the character model is too low. Is this a bug that is introduced in one of the last patches?

Yes I had the same problem before the June 23 patch and it’s still there. It’s hard to do the face changes when its that low when u zoom in.

can you fix this, I cant properly create the face when zoom in.

been there for months and the only way to fix it is to buy the kit on TP for 350 gems. I think that’s what Anet want us to do:(

Well, I made my character taller(— or shorter for Norn race) when I’m fixing my character’s face. Then I fix my character’s body before changing personal story. I don’t know why but for some reason, Charr race is fine during character creation. Odd..
When will they going to solve this problem?

Both Female Norn, Male and Female Asura are a subject to the bug, at the moment. Can we at least have some proper adress to the problem?

Yeah it was interesting to discover that the makeover kit doesn’t exhibit the same issue…………
