As the other thread got closed with the claim that the issue was fixed I just want to point out that I still can’t delete a character.. just tried after a relog and nothing..

Same here. Unable to delete my toon.

+1 Deleting doesn’t work on European Server

It was possible to delete Characters for 3 min or so. I deleted one, created a new char, then I wanted to delete another, but it was not possible anymore.

Still broke, seriously they are breaking everything tonight.

The original thread about this was closed by a moderator because they claim the issue is solved. It isn’t. I just tried to delete a character I wish to reroll and it failed. No error message, the delete button lights up but nothing happens. EU servers.

I can’t delete any Character either. Tried everything. I just wanted to make a new one, which i can’t as long as i can’t delete one…

Same here, can’t delete characters and all my slots are filled so can’t roll a new one.

Can’t delete my character either, I go through all the motions and when I select ‘Delete’ nothing happens and the character is still there, hope they fix this soon

Since buying the game a few days ago I’d been able to delete characters without any issue and had been happily experimenting with the various races and professions. As of the last patch a few hours ago I can no longer do so.

really wish they would not assume that because someone says oh it works that the problem was solved since I still have the issue and have tried everything i can think of to fix it. Seems that the mod was just in a tad of a rush to agree a problem was solved

I had this problem since original(first) topic time. I couldn’t do it before, and I can’t delete it now either.

Hmm… could it be cause of the use of none english letters in the character name?

I cannot delete any of my characters.

I have made sure that their names were spelled correctly.

I have made sure that I am running the most recent client/patch version.

Please assist.

Deletion still freezes for me.
Im pretty sure its because of the letter “ö” in my charcet name because i can delet any other characters without problems with english only letters in their names.
Try to fix that please. Thank you!

Problem solved.
If anybody else encounter this problem use the ASCII code of the letter in character creation and for deletion too. In my case i used “alt gr 148” for the letter “ö”.
I don’t know why it works that way in my client but it works.
