Guild Wars 2

Ever since Edge was added to WvW, I’ve been noticing that my character freezes during battles involving A.O.E.s The problem often shows up in the Edge map, but it sometimes appears in the regular borderlands maps as well. Before the Edge of the Mists update, I had no problems dodging away from AOEs .

Example: In a normal game, my character dodges out of the way when I push the Dodge button + one of the arrow buttons. I usually dodge when I see my character in an AoE circle.

Lately, my character doesn’t respond when I push the dodge button during a massive battle between hundreds of players on a map.

I’ve turned down my graphics for WvW, and my FPS is usually 24 to 45 fps. I also recently upgraded my internet service to Comcast Extreme, the fastest internet for MMORPG gamers. I can’t think of anything else I can do on my side to improve response during competitive gameplay. I do think that this may be a GW2 gameplay bug.
