I’ve been experiencing this bug for a year, so maybe it’s time to remind ANet it exists.

Sometimes, when I attempt to move from a stationary state, the animation will start, and then lock, and my character will remain stationary until I make some other movement (change direction, strafe, whatever) or stop pressing the forward (W) key.

This has messed me up countless times during platforming/jumping puzzles during the past year.

Here’s what it looks like when it happens.

Had the same problem since launch too. It’s killed me at least 2 times that I can remember. I’ll go to move and my character locks up and doesn’t respond until I press a different key. It happens a lot more on my warrior than my ranger though.

On my ranger it happens about 1-2 times a week. On my warrior it happens 1-2 times a day.

Happens to me sometimes, as well. It happens a lot more often after I use Ride the Lightning and attempt to move.
