Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this but on two different characters this has happened. First was a human female guardian. She was running along all fine and happy after killing some enemy. I took my hand off the run key and she carried on running. I tried pressing V to make her dodge but she didn’t. She stopped once she ran into a tree lol. It’s happened again with a norn male warrior. I was doing the quest were you have to pick up the bunny food and scare away the hungry bunnies. My character was running to pick up one of the foods and he wouldn’t stop running. I took my hand off the forward running key and he ran right off the cliff to his death. Haha has this happened to anyone else?

To add my keyboard isn’t sticky LOL!!!

You only need to press the Run (‘R’ key) once to make your character run. Pressing R again will make him/her stop, as will W, A, S, or D keys.

Oh I know that I mean usually when you take your hands off the WASD it stops your character from moving totally. I did that but my characters kept running. O_O

If you try, while moving, to pick up an environmental item that requires you to stand still to pick it up, your character will keep running in the direction you were going for a few seconds, with no way to stop yourself or turn.

Ahh that would explain it then. Because when my norn character was doing it I was trying to pick up the bunny food while he was running. Thank you for your help
