You can spam charisma with Scholar Sigga …is it normal ?

I don’t know if it is intended, but I know of several NPCs that have allowed you to spam the personality attribute of your choice since the game came out. They’ve been reported several times around here since launch, but they never got a response and were never fixed. I figured they were never broken in the first place and was intended or they would have fixed them sometime in the last 19 months…right?

In just a couple minutes of initiating dialogue, selecting the desired attribute and then repeating allows one to max whichever one they desire and remove the others or to attain that perfect balance to get one of the more obscure ‘personalities’.

The reason why these won’t be addressed is that the charisma/ferocity/dignity system is, by all accounts, something that Anet might have once intended to use for something…and completely abandoned. It doesn’t matter at all.

Unfortunately, and sadly, it does not. Pyroatheist is correct in saying that it doesn’t matter at all (in its current implementation). The only thing your character personality affects is having certain dialogue options available to you with NPCs. If you are very high charisma, but very low in the others, then you will have just the charismatic response available to you. If you are about even across all three then you should have all three responses available for you to choose from.

There is a lot of potential with this system in many aspects of the game; available character abilities, spell colors and effects, weapon aura/color and effects, character aura glow, unique emotes, prefix/suffix title options for character names, ranger pet behavior and appearance, ranger pet availability, necro minion appearance, and many more things that can change based on your character’s personality. So much potential…..
