Charr Ascended helmet display bug
Post this in the thread about character art design buggs. Its a sticky trhead a bit further up….
Almost all headgear removes hair. Not so much a bug, as a design implementation, I would say.
Yeah, helms render characters bald, and it’s very noticeable on charr. It’s ruined a few helms for me on my charr.

There are many old helmets that do not eat away Charr’s hair.
It’s those new ones Anet introduced that eat away hair, esepcially Charr’s (some of them even eats away its big horns…)
Showing Anet does not care about Charr, only care about humanoid characters.
To make things worse, most helmets that eat away hair just cover the whole head, but this one only cover alittle part of the head, yet the hair is still gone
The charr t3 light helm eats hair, too. So, it’s not just newer helms that do it.
It’s not just Charr, and if there are helmets that don’t take away hair on Charr, they are lucky, because Headgear has been removing hair on characters since GW1. Haha.
The problem is that the Headgear replaces whatever is on the head, instead of sitting on top of it. So, whatever is there must be removed.
Still, go ahead and put it in the clipping Sticky, and I’m sure it will get the attention it deserves, asap. =)
