Guild Wars 2

Hello all, this has been a recurring issue for me over the last few days. I roleplay a lot on GW2 , more that anything else so this issue is becoming rather problematic.

Sometimes, for no apparent reason a player becomes muted in /say. None of the chat posts appear on my screen, it does for people though. However the other channels like /g or /p, etc. Work completely fine without a hint of trouble. Is this a common thing or is it localized to me?

Does it happen only from a specific player? Or do you stop getting any chat from local (/s)? Can you talk with said player through Whisper? And do you mean that other people sees their chat but you don’t?
