The Hall Of Monument reward item Chimeric Prism Focus has clipping issues with every race making it the most pointless and ugliest item to wield. It rubs against the body too much and when put away looks silly. Some effort should be put into this item as in guildwars 1 it was amazing, once known as storm artifact.
Every warhorn clips through the knee when in combat stance, how did they mess that one up? shrug poor design, will never be fixed.
In Gw1 you never stowed your weapons, hence why this skin never clipped.
That might be part of it but not entirely.

At least to me it seems like it would better if the focus in the picture was rotated a bit to the left so that it would align with the arm instead being at a 70 degree angle to each other. It would also make it closer to what it looks like in the icon/concept art.
