Everyone i know who is playing WvW on my server is experiencing MASSIVE skill lag, Map chat and Teamspeak are full of nothing but complaints about 5-10 second skill lag from different people everytime, approaching primetime and when primetime hits it’s either 10 seconds skill or no skills/weapon swaps work at all.

Can we please get some kind of rolling update on your progress for a fix, not just a single solitary “The developers are aware of it” in a completely unrelated post. Alot of people i play with just refuse to raid now, commanders don’t want to tag up and our server’s primetime is empty.

Please for the love of god stop ignoring us and dismissing us, we only ask for updates and your help but this is making you more and more unpopular.

They aren’t ignoring the complaints. There have been several threads about it and some have gotten a red post (some not). Lag and latency can be incredibly difficult to track down, since the problem could be at customer ISPs, ANet’s ISP, in the backbone, etc. Get as many people as you can to file one support ticket each with as much diagnostic detail as you can — that’s what will help ANet troubleshoot. Further, that will give them ammunition to convince ISPs to fix issues on their end.

Bump for visibility, this is the umpteenth time these weeks that i have just had no interest in playing because WvW is so full of skill lag that nobody wants to tag up anymore, this can’t possibly be on our side if the entire server has these problems.

This has been said many times, in many threads, but when 70+ people from all over the world are all in TeamSpeak together, and have no lag in PvE or even Lions Arch, then enter WvW and suddenly get massive, unplayable lag, then 1 by 1 start leaving WvW only to find that their lag disappears, then the problems aren’t happening on the player’s end. If it were routing or packet loss issues, then the lag should be at least somewhat persistent throughout the game, & it would be an amazing coincidence to hear people from different continents all getting the same lag, at the same time, ont he same map, then all seeing it disappear when they leave the map.

I must add to this post that this isn’t a NA exclusive problem. In almost all EU servers it’s happening the same thing. I for once, I’m in Baruch Bay and have had lag ever since the patch came out; not only in WvW, but also in Pve and PvP. Same problem goes for a lot of my friends playing in this server as well.
I already put a post on the spanish forum about it, but it’s almost been a week now and no answer yet :/
