Likely because the ring doesn’t actually ‘exist’ anymore. Because the ring was removed from the circulation a while back, it would make sense that there is no attuned ring for it.

It would make sense as an oversight that needs fixed. I have a handful of them that I use and would like to continue using them.

Doesn’t matter, the patch notes stated: “Fixed a bug that prevented older versions of some Infused rings from being Attuned in the Mystic Forge. These rings can now correctly be upgraded to Attuned Infused Rings”. So by that logic he should be able to attune it.

If you are going to be like that. The patch notes say “SOME infused rings”. So there ya go, these aren’t part of the “some”
