During the second stage of the Claw of Jormag event there is no Corrupted Ice Wall like there is in the first stage. However, during this second stage Pact Researcher Darrin still continues to announce, “The wall’s down! Strike now, while it’s stunned”. just like they did in the first stage when there was a wall.

Maybe you just weren’t watching the ledges.

But in all seriousness, it’s been doing that since launch. It’s probably just an easier and more time-effective way of saying to everyone “ATTACK!! Zoom in on it now!!” Maybe that’s what he should be saying instead, idk.

Personally I don’t usually take much notice of what the NPC’s say in that event, because of Darrin’s over-zealous approach to watching the ledges. I take more notice of the Claw’s actions, and when he backs off we’re usually all on him like a fat kid on a cookie.

Just because you ignore what the npc says and even if it has done it from day one, doesn’t stop it being a bug,

This is a place to report bugs and not a place to just say oh well I don’t care about that, if it is a bug then it belongs here.

Oh you are absolutely right. I guess no one has bothered to report it for so long, because there have been plenty of other very serious issues with the Claw of Jormag fight.

But it should be fixed, it kind of annoys me as well when ever I’m doing this event.

NPC Researcher Darrin seems to say that everytime Claw of Jormag is stunned, even in the last phase. Perhaps a new line is needed. lol
