I’ve been playing engineer and while I have my healing turret deployed, I’ve noticed that clicking “cleansing burst” does not instantly cast the skill. Instead, the turret doesn’t do anything for about 2-3 seconds and THEN it activates the skill. I’ve managed to get it to instantly cast sometimes by spamming the button repeatedly, but for the most part it takes about 2 seconds before the water field appears and the animation activates. I’ve already ruled out server lag, since all of my other insta-cast skills are working just fine (I’ve also tested out my keyboard and there’s no delay problems). This makes it very difficult to get the blast finisher off, since most of the time the water field won’t even activate in time. The skill claims to have no cast time, so am I missing something or is this a bug?

Yes, you need to use the overcharge immediately upon deploying the turret to get the cleansing burst to activate right away. Spamming the button will often be sufficient. Any delay in activating the overcharge means you need to wait until the turret fires again for it to come out.

It’s just a very annoying aspect to the design of the healing “turret”, but not a bug.
