When you loot items and click on their icons in the right part of the UI, they don’t open the inventory anymore. It was working fine before today’s patch. Clicking gold still opens the wallet, though.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Loot any mob.
2. Notice items in the right part of the screen being shown.
3. Click on any item’s icon.
4. Notice inventory doesn’t open.
5. Click copper/silver icon, notice that wallet still opens properly.

I don’t know if this is an intentional change in mechanics to the game.

But if you click on the item dropped above your mini-map, it doesn’t open you inventory.

It’s never opened my inventory. Or if it did, it’s been so long since that happened that I’ve forgotten.

Odd, I never noticed clicking items opened the inventory. I’ve certainly tried clicking on them, but nothing ever happened.

I’ve never been able to open the inventory by clicking an item. Sounds like a useful feature request, rather than a bug.

Well that’s weird cause it always worked for me (opening bag after clicking the icon) and after the patch it’s not working. So yeah. Sounds like a bug.

Yup always worked for me untill after todays 4-14-2015 patch, it’s now broke.

I’ve noticed everytime I accidentally did it and got annoyed. Clicking on currency will open the wallet(this still works).

I want this back its annoying me that I don’t have it! I use this feature all the time every day!

When I loot something and it shows the new items I’m picking up scrolling I can’t click on them and have my inventor open up as it used to. I can still click on coins, karma, badges, etc and have my wallet open. I’ve heard other people in ts3 complaining about this as well.

Not sure if this is just me, but it’s something I’ve noticed lately.

Unable to click newly obtained items on side of UI to open inventory

I’ve been kinda of taking a little break recently while I wait for HoT, anyway, probably a common story there and irrelevant.

I just wanted to know whether anyone else is experiencing an issue where they click on the item that they are picking up (appear on the right side of the screen) and it not being brought up in their inventory. Nothing happens! Is there some setting I turned off? Would be nice to be able to have that link working again.

I only recently found that it does that, when I accidentally clicked on a daily log in reward. Isn’t it faster and easier to tap I to open the inventory than to move your mouse over to a moving, fading icon?

cannot open inventory when clicking on the items that pop up after i loot them above the minimap like before

yep super annoying but it still works for karma/gold. I use to click to get into inventory all the time . now it doesnt work

Yeah, I never even realized this was a thing until people started posting about it not working now. I just always press I to pull up my inventory.

If you’re currently doing a boss and need to salvage while playing or many other reasons, you need your left hand on the left side of the keyboard and not reaching to press the i button or whatever you have it mapped too. Much easier to click it in many situations.

Eh, it’s easier for me to just press I. Then again, I’m not often messing around with inventory while I’m doing events/dungeons; I tend to do that in the time between those things.

Hmm…if it is easy to click an item on the screen, then I would imagine it is easy to click an icon on the screen. /shrug

What i loved about this loot feed over the map was how i could open inventory just by clicking at any looted item (exept for wallet stuff later on). But recently i noticed that it does not work anymore. I have no idea if it is a bug or was it intended… But it’s been like three or four days and I miss it ;_;

have the same issue.

Can we get a Dev on this ASAP? Its really getting annoying!

Hmm…if it is easy to click an item on the screen, then I would imagine it is easy to click an icon on the screen. /shrug

It also intant links to the item. When you have 160 slots and have a few items that you use up, it can be hard to keep track of everything ALL the time. Especially after you take a break and decided to not be cleaning out your inventory. The clicking ALSO links directly to an item.

I shouldn’t have to be defending my preference of how to do things though, it is easy to just click on the inventory yes, but that’s a different issue altogether and not really a solution.

It still not fixed… I hate pressing [I] for every drop now!

Yessss it needs to be brought back. I used this feature often to quickly access the inventory to destroy space chewing junk loot.
-mutters- kitten junk loot always in the way…

Silence. Are devs even aware of that problem considering no response from them?

just want to chime in and give me opinion too: PUT THIS FEATURE BACK. not being able to click items to open inventory is really annoying after being able to for thousands of hours and it suddenly is gone
