As the title states when someone links a waypoint in chat and i click on it the map doesn’t move to the waypoint or it will move my map to a location nowhere near the indicated waypoint, making it frustrating especially WvW when following a zerg. i have tried repairing the client and this didn’t fix it, i was wondering if anyone else had this issue and/or had a fix for it.

well i decided to re install the game and this still doesn’t work….guess im screwed gg anet for breaking something so simple yet so irritating

Hmm well, since it doesn’t seem to be a common issue it may be something at your end maybe. :S In this case, maybe you better to try a more individualized response through Customer Support ticket. Good luck.

I’ve submitted 2 tickets and never got any responses.

my guildy just suggested i run the game in fullscreen and it fixed the problem…so the bug only occurs in windowed mode

Hmm, that’s odd. I run in windowed mode and I haven’t had such issue. About responses to tickets, how long has you submitted them? There is a thread where you can talk about not answered tickets and stuff, but... *stares at search box* ...I can’t find it right now. I’ll update this post if I find it.

It’s a Sticky in Account Issues, namely, ‘Tickets for Review, 3 Days and Older’.

You can post your original ticket number there. Remember, submitting duplicate tickets about the same issue sends you to the back of the queue each time.

In case of “strange” errors where repair / reinstall doesn’t help i would always try
to delete / rename the local.dat file.
