-My Client keep crashing, telling my i have connection problems… and no i dont have connection problems… bug?

Same here. Started LS a few minutes ago, client crahed soon after and since then I can’t log in with the character i used and i experience a network error.

Edit: Can’t log in ANY character

same here.. it worked for a couple of minutes then it crashed and now i can’t get back in on any character.

same here, can move and play for 0.5-3 minutes, then it crashes

network error; check your internet connection. but its fine

edit: im able to log in now (about 15mins later)

happend after i wanted to pick up a bloodstone fragment to release the “big” bloodstone.

cant log in with any character…

same problem but it is not just LS related.. I crashed 3 times after update and I was in www.

yeah I can get to character select now and click on one of them, it’ll go to the loading screen then after a few seconds game crashes out.

Same issue. Logged in to do new living world. Was on for a few minutes, says I lost connection and now I can’t get past the character screen.

Started after downloading the patch … started game .. fugg all

Same here, was playing fine then 5 minutes ago it kicked me now when I select any character it starts loading map and then gives me a network error. My network is fine.

Yup, same here. Play for five min dc, look at the game dc, think about the game dc.

Same problem. Attempted second part of LS, crashed after escaping bloodstone trap. Cannot log in. Emergency patch recommended. Given connectivity error with 5 bars of internet.

Christ, you would think by now they could figure this stuff out. Happens every single time.

I think we got ourself another fix one thing fugg another four things up :p

Add me in list. I started pvp match and got DC, when i tried to log back it keep crashes. cant play anymore…

Happened to me too. In the Shining Blade headquarters instance…Now i can"t log into any character

Not only was I disconnected in the White Mantle Hideout, but I cannot reload Brisbane Wildlands on that character.

If it matters, I killed the Kig Crab and was about to get to the Shining Blade Exemplar.

EDIT: After logging in a different character, I was able to reload the character in Brisbane Wildlands.

EDIT 2: Crash protection in instances?! I reloaded the instance and I was back in the hideout, after the “jumping puzzle”. Seems the game was keeping track of my progress.

EDIT 3: Logging in another character does not help. It seems to be based upon time.

cant get past selecting a character. i just get a connection error and sends me back to the launcher :c

Yep, constant crashing. Stay on for 5-10 minutes, then fight to get to get reconnected.

Can’t get past character select either.

Was playing in WvW then the game crashed.

I can log back into the game but it would say ‘connection error’ on loading screeen.

I was able to login and play. I went to Verdant Brink for a short time, DC’d, then when trying to login again am told my character is in Auric Basin and I can’t connect due to bad network connection.

Same here, I logged in 1x after the update, ported to Auric Basin then after about 30 seconds crashed, now I can get to character select screen but none of my characters will load into the map.

I went to temp cleared my GW2Cache folder though and tried again and I got in.

Same problem, fighting boss encounter when got disconnected and can’t get back past character select screen.

WvW is crashing because of the EWP Tactivator, it is confirmed that it crashes the whole isntance.

Same. I had issues to log in and my character was moved to outside of LA after i swapped from Lake Doric to Airship. I swapped character and started second instance and in second fight i dc in the middle of it. Not gonna log in again until it is fixed because i don’t want to be spoiled, so please look in to this.

I just experienced a ‘connection’ crash as well kickingg me back to the character screen. When trying to log back in I get a network issue and the game crashes to desktop completely.

And just when I was trying to show off Dwayna’s parrot and that Zephyr feather glider and pretend I’m the coolest kid on the block on my character called “Champion of Dwayna”

Same right now was playing in the new map then dced…when i logged back (after many tries) I was back to Lion’s Arch..now I’ll have to walk again :/

After entering Shinning Blade HQ instance game started crashing every time I tried to get back in the game.

crashed trying to load the new fractal, got back in after 15 minutes and my whole party was offline from the same problem. new episode hype

frikin Anet, the game is almost 5 years and they still don’t know how to keep the server stable, seriously……

i keep getting kicked over and over again. It does not save the progress on the new map as well. After a relog, I’m again in LA and have to take the ship.

Frac 100 and 3rd boss at 20% then the whole group crashes and the progress is gone. yay \o/

The fact the client crash when the game support an update, ok i know that, it ALWAYS happened for each update … but this time, I can’t even log on any character, in any mode, cmon I want to play !

Well the patch update went smoothly. I logged in and completed the new fractal at 25 without issues, but as I went in and entered the first instance for the living world story, the npc dialog went on for few seconds then the client crashed. Now although I can log in but I’m getting a message ‘Network Error’ each time I try to load up game screen regardless of any characters. My net connection is fine. This bug is affecting the entire game play, not just the living world instance.

Edit: After about 10 mins I can finally load up the game screen. But I’m absolutely not doing the instance now until there is a bug fix.

I’m also getting a client crash after patching.

When the game loads into the character screen, double-clicking a character doesn’t load into the game. Clicking the Play button causes it to grey out, also without loading into the game. I also noticed that my guild tags aren’t loading on the character screen – the guild name appears, but it’s followed by [ ] without a tag. Then within 1-3 seconds of the character screen loading, the entire game crashes to desktop. Then the login client reopens, but no error message at any point..

About 10 minutes ago, I installed the second patch (with the client and server crash fixes), and the problem persists. Now, as the game crashes to desktop, an error message window does pop up in game, but it’s unreadable. I only see the black background of the text window before the whole client disappears, no text loads in time.

After installing the latest patch I now receive a network error message trying to load into any map with any character.
