Guild Wars 2

So I’ve just gained interest in playing the game once again. I haven’t played since its original release years ago. I am currently on windows 10 and I’m trying to install the game however gw2.exe only stays open for a few seconds then crashes. I was wondering if there’s a fix to this issues.

Also, I know that the game’s performance was dependent on the cpu and pretty much ignored whatever gpu you had, is this still the case? If I remember correctly it would also only tap into 1 core. Has that also changed? And is there anyway to get the game to use all cores and the gpu as well?

Bump, my boyfriend is having the same issue after he launches the game (already has it downloaded and patch is up to date, has played for over a year now) gets fatal error 6.
