There have been numerous threads and bug reports made about this shield but to no avail.

One of the hardest shields to get in the game ruined by the worst clipping on a shield to date.

Move it further from the arm holding it and it can be considered as fixed. Because it clips so heavily in the arm, it also usually goes through the pauldrons, which is rather rare. It also tends to sink into the users back when sheathed.
