Guild Wars 2

I am having trouble with getting into CoF. The map looks as if the dungeon is contested and in fact there are the appropriate mobs around the area. However, the norn npc that shouts “We have cleared the way to the Citadel of Flames!” is there doing her thing as if it isn’t contested. I see the rocks in the way and am unable to enter. My guild-mates among others are having no issue running this dungeon.

I was in here a few times yesterday, is there a cap of how many times you can run within a 24 hr period?

there is an event that starts at Forlorn Waypoint that opens the dungeon, the dungeon will ALWAYS be contested and closed if the event isn’t done or if it fails. regardless of if the dungeon is contested or not the npc will always say that line and no, there is no limit as to how many times you can run it, but it might end up contested again by the time you finish a run
