Path 1 of CoF is impossible to kill the final boss.

The patch last night added that the crystals now heal him. Yeah, that is fine and i understand why it is needed.

However, the crystals spawn at a rate of about 5/15 seconds. And the boss has over 9,000,000,000 health already. It took 20 minutes to kill him BEFORE he healed, now it is impossible to even out-damage the healing.

Do the dev’s actually PLAY through their patches before they release them?

I completed CoF after the patch without any problems (I run CoF daily and noticed no changes from previous runs). The crystals have always given him stacks of regeneration. Was there healing on top of that?

My group was trying to fight him just 30 minutes ago. We could not damage him below 95% before he fully regen’d.

We do the run daily and this is the first time we have ever encountered anything like this.

The crystals always healed him. Also, they always spawned really fast. The problem was solved if you could outdps the healing or use a poision skill to lessen the regen as there was no point in destroying the crystals. Increasing the healing done by the crystals now makes this boss really tedious.

Uh my CoF run of path 1 last night took about 15 minutes total for a full clear. We ignore the crystals completely. Still one of the easiest paths in the game, seems no different to me than pre patch.

oh i havent tested it out since the patch. just addressing what the OP said. But yeah before its better to ignore the crystals
