Flaming rocks are not visible!

Maybe I’m a minority, but lately I discovered the following bug: When running Citadel of Flames path 1, the flaming rocks just before the gate control are invisible for me. I don’t know why, but I can’t see them which makes managing this part sometimes difficult if you don’t have a mesmer. I asked in our guild chat once if anyone else has experienced this, and it seems that I’m not the only one. Has anyone of you also witnessed this bug and/or is Arenanet aware of it? [ LiliumSanctus]

Chiming in. I can see the rocks fine but it isn’t uncommon for me to party with 2 or 3 friends that cannot see them.

I haven’t had this problem personally, but like Rypo said, every pug run has had 2-3 people with this problem. I’m not sure if it’s a graphics setting issue, but sometimes the issue goes away when the affected player waypoints away and back.

this bug is very anoying and sometimes i have 3 people in group cant see the rocks and we have to die over and over

this bug only have some people and has something to do with grafikoptions but i could not find now which – i have everything on lowest

and it does not go away with port back – tested it alot

i can see the hp bar from the rocks when i mouseover them but this doesnt help and this bug started 2 livingstorys ago i think it was the invasions patch – maby this help^^

I also have this problem,
I tried changing some graphic options but it didnt help much (didnt try to set shadows on, cuz apparently u can still see the shadows and that will help workaround the problem), i tried disabling LOD and changing some other option but it did not help.

Like Romek said, my bug also started a few weeks ago, not sure exacly when cuz i havent been doing CoF regularly latelly.

I have this problem when I set grphic to lowest setting.

If I turn it to medium or high, the problem go away.

As someone above stated,

solution is to set character limit quality to Low or above.

Same problem here, big issue when you got a few people with same problem and no mesmer for port. Tried all temp ‘fixes’ they tend to work now and again but not always.
