Guild Wars 2

Hi Guys,

So it’s been a month now since the September Feature Patch… And yet we still have 3 collections bugged. For those of you who are unaware of them they are:

1. Brewmaster Collection
2. Fine Wining Collection
3. Hero of the People Collection

Since the patch there has also been a free trial period for people to try Guild Wars 2. Not to mention that the Feature Patch introduced a better levelling experience for new players…

The reason I point this out is simply to highlight the fact that this is really bad business practice and advertises the fact that Guild Wars 2 is buggy. By then allowing prospective new players to come along and see all the bugs first hand… you may as well email them with a free trial to another game!

I won’t pretend to be a programmer and understand what is required to fix these bugs… HOWEVER, I will comment that a month is surly more than enough time.

All I ask is that ANet either spends a little more time fixing bugs or simply remove the content from game until such time that you can put it back in, functioning the way it should.

By allowing Bugs to go unfixed in game MAY damage the reputation of the game, thus new players will not invest in the game, thus the game becomes less active, thus existing players get bored of failing guilds and no-one in game… Thus, dead game! (I realise it’s extreme but come on ANet) As my mother used to say “Finish what’s on your plate before you go and get seconds”.

Hmm, I thought they had been removed some time ago….

I never saw anything about them being removed (or acknowledged at all by Anet). But I may have just missed it.

I have champ bags that once said “collectible” but opening one of them did nothing to collections. I now have a bunch stored in my bank in hopes that we get word that it is fixed OR removed. One way or the other, it would be really nice to find out.

Is it a bug that it can’t be unlocked?
Was it planned to be a collection, but later removed and won’t be coming back?

The collections are great, but it would be really nice to get some sort of red-name response to say either Not sure, but I’ll look into it -or- Yes it has been removed, open your champ bags and don’t worry about trying to unlock the beer/wine collections anymore.
