Combo Field not working
The light combo field with “cleansing bolts” from whirl finisher does not seem to remove conditions from the user or nearby allies either.
Regarding projectiles.
Projectile finishers are unique among finishers insofar that some projectiles, particularly those from skills with no cooldown and that fire multiple projectiles, will only combo 20% of the time. For such skills, the combo indicator will still appear and the projectile will take on the visual appearance of the combo, but will not necessarily apply the additional effect.
That aside, I believe they only apply their effect if the bolt/projectile passes through someone.
Yes, the bolt is created in the field…but it is still a projectile; it has to hit a target before removing the condition.
