This morning after WvW rotation managed to get the last Vista to complete map 100% (Yipee) – sadly i got the reward chest for completing Eternal Battleground – but no map completion screen and NO REWARD – my map reads – 301/301 – 507/507 – 719/719 – 202/202 – 266/266.

I feel severly cheated by this hopefully this is a glitch that is easily rectified (or the pre-requistie for 100% has changed in some way)

Please help either way asap.

Happened to a buddy of mine about 4 months ago. He finished 100% map completion and no chest. After dealing with anet and them telling him to basically run around the map to certain points to see if it fixed it. He gave up and started 100% completion on another toon.

Basically, don’t hold your breath for an answer.

Just a thought, I know when I finished all the waypoints, vistas, skill points, and points of interest, I thought I was done, and was made aware of the Explorer Achievements Tab, under which the first five items are Explorer achievements for Krytan, Orr, Maguuma, Shiverpeak, and Ascalon. Each of the five are subdivided into ‘areas’ and to my surprise, I had not covered all of the areas for each zone. It was only rectified by a careful study of each zones maps, where I had missed some of the jumping puzzles, or zones that really had nothing of interest in them, but they existed just the same.

The explorer Achievements are not needed for the 100% map completion.

There are different three ways to try to solve the problem:

Revisit the Chantry of secrets
Revisit all required zones (if you didn’t accept a chest for completing a zone you will not get the rewards until the chest has been accepted)
If both of those did not solve the probem you have to contact ArenaNet Support but try the first 2 methods first as they are a proven workaround for a few people.

Aye, usually the culprit is the Chantry of Secrets zone in Bloodtide Coast.

It’s on an island where the skillpoint is … just go down into the cave and zone in.

This was the poi my guildie was missing and automatically gave her completion once she zoned in.
