Seems like there’s an in game code going around allowing you to preview your character completely nude. Possibly something to do with outfits. Just a heads up if Anet could look into it.

Yea, didn’t know if it was intended or not. I’m not personally offended by it, but I could see it turning into a problem for parents with younger gamers. Just making sure Anet is aware of the issue.

Well i for one hope this “nude bug” is here to stay, why not develop it a little bit as well and make the game 18+?

This isn’t anything new. That’s been floating around for a couple years now. I had forgotten about it until you posted this here. Don’t worry, I’m very sure this skin, or lack of skin, won’t be coming to GW2 anytime ever….

yeah was gonna make a post “so we getting nudie outfit?” not going into much detail but I see most things as “just a body” (im an art major) and while I wouldnt use this “outfit” I can see why a LOT of people would be upset. Now I propose that we all act civilized and—oh who am I kidding everyone will prob use this outfit for “wrong reasons” and Anet will have to remove the first hour it would come out :/

That outfits been around since the beginning but the code keeps changing and being found again. Wonder when they’ll finally just release it on the gem store.

Not a bug. This is what you get for having prying eyes peeking at stuff not ready for release yet. I’m sure they’ll get the code locked down.

Is not the code changing, it’s just that an item placeholder seems to be created but the skin itself hasn’t been attached to that item yet, so the result is an “empty” skin, which translates into your character not wearing anything at all. That creates the “nude” effect we’ve seen here.

So it’s not an intended skin, it’s just a bug (more or less) because of an unattached skin to the placeholder item.

(I might be wrong, this is just me guessing from a programming point of view)

That “Under Construction” icon for the ex-nude outfit, is that the lead artist’s head on the background? It’s still there and that grin is hilarious

its a new outfit skin… i believe its called “The Emperors new clothes”

lol those hidden placeholder/testing items are funny.

As the toons have no ‘naughty bits’ this is about as X rated as a naked Barbie doll, move on folks.
