Guild Wars 2

This happened after the cut-scene.

Killed the boss, killed all the mobs in the rooms, interacted with every possible object and yet… nothing happens when I try to interact with Valette’s Portal.

Do I have to re-do the entire instance again? Does anyone else have this bug?

Can’t seem to figure out or do anything. Sad.

My instance was bugged too. I was stuck in the entrance unable to move but I did kill the boss but could not move toward the portal. I am very disappointed. All that work for literally nothing.

I’ve played this game since launch but I may have to quit over this. That was way too much to go through without a reward. Bad rollout.

This is still an issue just had it bug out after the cutscene today for me. Nothing could be done to jump start the instance again to proceed.

Mine was bugged also. Same bug I had at the final boss in LS3. I get to the end after killing everything and get kicked to the login screen before I can get the reward and the achievement. For Crack in the Ice, the support team tried everything to find out what caused the problem. I just gave up. I did it 3 times (all that work for nothing) and just couldn’t do it again. Now here we are in LS4 and the same issue again! I’m sooo upset right now, its not even funny!

UPDATE**
Thanks to GM Zippy the Wonder Squirrel the issue is resolved for me. He advised me to create a new shortcut for GW2 and name it Port Test….at the end of the string on properties he advised putting /clientport 80 (where -stream used to go) worked like a charm!

Same here. Cannot interact with Valette’s Portal. Wish they would cut this into pieces so I would not have to repeat the whole thing

This is already on page 4 and no ideas on a work around or fix …. super sad with GW2

I have it buged too. Portal work, bud in sanctum where Caudecus orb say question, i have first…answer ok, second …. answer ok – but here open the same door like entrance. So i have two rooms, two questin but cant go to next and i cant walk only betweet room 1 and room 2.
I wait few days before next try, but same situation.

Well I was able to finish … I hope everyone else were able to as well !!!

Someone in my party has gotten stuck in a wall or doorway during the end fight 2 out of 3 times that I’ve done this. They can’t get to the portal, and can’t progress to the end. A week ago it was the instance owner, and no one could progress to the end. Tonight it was not the instance owner, so everyone except that person was able to get credit. Has this issue been addressed in another thread, or has there been no Anet response at all?

i managed to pass through the bug

the difference compared to my 1st playthough:
- 1st play i do whisper way, 2nd play vigil play
- 1st play chked all rooms, 2nd play no need
- 1st play did the chandelier achievement, 2nd play still did it, though achievement already got on 1st play. 2nd time got little bit difficulty to get it down, getting many “blocked”
- 2nd play skip the cutscene

It is August 24th and yep, this portal still bugs. Incredibly frustrating.
