Leave that window with the errore open for about 5 -10 min after will start to download…i left it gone to eat when i come back was downloading.

I want to play and do not want to hear kitten about patience etc. I think they have monies from us from many sources and are not a voluntary service. Pathetic.

I was having the same problem, but after some time the client start to work normally, so after the update i entered the game, i took one wp to another map and than this… that was scary :C

Works for me too now also with my normal shortcut. I used one with explicit assetserver 40 minutes ago. And about the reason for the downtime: I think the patch is much bigger then we see in the patch note. I downloaded a lot already and the download is still not done (and no, speed isn’t a problem, 1Mbit/s).

That screen reminds me of Counter strike Source, when my graphic card didn’t have enough video memory, some textures were missing and it was pink instead.
