I am constantly crashing in zerg situations, which made the living story a headache, and is currently making the WvW tournament absolutely impossible. I crash probably roughly 2-3 times per night.

My computer handles all other games fantastically. I have never had this problem with any other game. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, as well as repair, and it has not helped in the slightest.

I am sensing that this is not an uncommon crash. Anyone have ANY solution?

Only a possible suggestion. you might need to update graphics drivers,

I personally have found certain revisions of graphics drivers to be buggy with certain games, where a newer revision of the driver is fixed.

AKA you updated it 2 months ago, and they released a newer revision 2 days later the even newer revision may fix your problem.

If that does not fix your problem, depending on the age of the video card you may need an older driver version, I know Nvidia is dropping support in new drivers for older cards. I also have an older card (5yrs on a backup machine) that plays GW2 just fine that has been recently dropped from the latest Nvidia drivers.

If you are running on a 32 bit version of windows and/or don’t have enough memory you can run into issues when you run out of memory, as you can only address 4 gigs of total memory including your video ram. If this is the issue, you can limit the problem by turning the character options down to the lowest options. But upgrading to a 64 bit system with more than 4 gigs of ram is your only sure fire solution.

There are some much more detailed posts on workarounds scattered through the forums and reddit if you are indeed on 32 bit windows.
