Whenever I do Karka Queen I crash. This issue started after the 15th April patch. Usually it’s at the mere end of the event, but today it happened at the beginning.
I have a really high-end PC (with HDD) so this “overload” I don’t get. I’ve send in crash reports each time. Please address this issue.

it’s cause of the megaserver obviously. i run the game on a (ssd) and have a kitten good computer and when ever i run that even i get a 4-5 fps. but if you turn your graphics option down to the lowest you might be able to overcome the big lag at the event.

I don’t have any issues with other Bosses, just Karka. Every single time. SO I think it’s something with Karka and not with me and my pc.

You are not alone Nabuko , I experienced the same thing since 2 days ago. After karka queen was killed I headed for my loot , few second after I opened my chest + bonus chest it just crashed to desktop and it happened again last night , in the exact same time ( 15-20 sec after karka got killed) This is really annoying and yes this only happened to karka , other world bosses are fine.

This has also been happening to me – on different toons even (Ranger and Mez). I don’t even make it to the chest, the crash is happening in the first few seconds.

I hate that this has to be my first post, but this crap bugs me.

Have you opened a ticket with customer service yet? Have you tried tuning down your graphics (especially number of display models and/or character quality)? A few events tend to push CPU/GPU to the max (all those shinies appearing in one spot, with skill effects, combos, etc).

I used to crash irregularly with KQ and Teq, almost always happening during the mad rush to the ground chest. I have been able to completely prevent this by decreasing those two options or turning away from the chest and waiting a minute after the kill.
