As title says, pretty much doing anything resulting in exp gain causes game freezing indefinitely. Have to kill it via task manager.

I’ve tried both 32/64bit clients and same issue persists.

I to am having this issue. Just started tonight and only in this zone thus far.

I am also having this issue. Am running the 64-bit client. Really annoying as I have to restart my computer every time this happens.

Same here. Just started the HoT missions in Verdant Brink and anything relating to an event such as finding a vista or a waypoint or similar, the game just freezes and I have to force quit it and restart.
I should mention while the Mac Beta client is still very buggy as it has been for years, it is usually not so bad that I have to force quit. This is making the game unplayable. I simply can’t progress if it freezes overtime a new event pops up or I find a vista or a waypoint. It’s too frustrating.

To add some details for the dev team:

I seem to get this freezing also but so far it’s only happened to me when I click the event complete icon that shows event participation with 100% repro rate (but for me it has not locked up when getting waypoints). I can also confirm this happens in Brink although I havn’t been able to confirm if this happens in other locations. (Just confirmed this soft lock was not happening in another zone although I can’t realistically confirm all zones).

Same problem here. Last night I downloaded Heart of Thrones and killed some megaboss (not sure who, as I am new to this expansion) with no problem. Today, if I complete an event or start an “adventure,” the game freezes and I have to use Task Manager to get out.

Same problem, from what I’ve been able to test its is not related to the game but to are accounts so it doesn’t matter what version of the game you uses.

Same issue here, tried both clients with no luck. Game freezes whenever I discover something only in the new maps. Vanilla maps work as usual.

Having the same issues on my first day in HoT. Crashes and freezes on xp gain, fighting and vista so far. + poi’s…..

Played in Verdant Brink for about 5 hours and still haven’t levelled glider basics >.<

Hi, same freeze after finishing an event or when i earn experience by discover a Waypoint, Task manager is the only way out of the game. The video freezes but the sound still works.
