This item for sale from an NPC doesn’t do anything.

Define: doesn’t do anything.

You click and it doesn’t get consumed? You click it and it is consumed, but nothing happens? You click it, you get a visual effect of some sort, but nothing like blinding or damage happens to the enemy?

Also, who sold the item?

I bought it from an NPC in a dredge cave. I don’t remember where. When consumed for its targeted area effect on the ground, the combat log records no effects on enemies. It may “poison dredge” as it says, but the smoke effect doesn’t happen (no blinding).

If I can find again the NPC who sells it, I’ll post it here.

Ahh. For some reason, a search in the Wiki does not produce that item.

Twelve minutes of the Blind condition seems a bit OP.

It does, however, note that it does not always produce the listed effect.

Reading the history, there are several different notes about the effect this Environmental Weapon has.

It does poison dredge, but it doesn’t have any effect on other creatures.
