Very often uncontested waypoints appear as contested making it unable to teleport to them till you are in the same zone and making it necessary to teleport to other waypoint in that zone and then to the destination waypoint in the end paying much more for the travel.

While I do see this problem a lot as well. That being said make sure you aren’t in an overflow, it causes a lot of the WP’s to appear contested. If you are in an LA overflow moving to a zone that won’t have an overflow and then checking the WP’s you want to use.

Yeah, when you are in an overflow you are technically on a different server, one where there are no people outside to win the WPs, so they’re all contested.

Easiest thing to do is jump to a WP by an exit from LA since it’s free and just step outside, that will put you back into your own server (assuming that zone doesn’t also have an overflow) and WPs will appear as normal.
