I’ve stood behind a 100% honeycomb 2 times, and I did not get the achievement. I had a buff that said I had “partial” cover, so I assume that the game thought that the honeycomb wasn’t full and that’s why it didn’t work. However, I checked and it definitely was full on both tries. I also didn’t get knocked out of it or anything, but just stood in the white square.

This is extra aggravating because on most tries people don’t fill up the honeycombs to 100%, so I can’t even attempt the achievement.

Update: Finally got a 3rd 100% honeycomb and got the achievement. I didn’t do anything differently from the previous tries. This was a very frustrating experience.

On my 12th try now. Every time I kite the bee’s to it, get it to full, get the buff, and then it disappears when the beam crossed it and I never get the achievement.

I didn’t have any problems with this achievement, but maybe keep in mind the following:

1. The Honeycomb must be at 100% for you to be completely safe behind it. Hiding behind a partially completed honeycomb will reduce the damage you take, but you won’t get the achievement.

2. The trolls have a (very annoying) knockback attack that can knock you out of the honeycomb’s safe zone. Depending on lag, they might have done it before your screen shows the beam hitting your location, ending up in the server thinking you got hit even though your screen says you were safe.

3. Related to above, server latency can sometimes mean you become de-synced. The server thinks your position is different to where your screen shows you are. Thus, you might think you’re hiding behind the honeycomb, but in reality you’re still standing outside it. You can sometimes re-sync yourself by performing an emote, so give this a try if you don’t seem to get the achievement even though you’re standing behind the honeycomb.
