Coztic Itzel Belongings Hero Point Bugged
I have the same issue.
same for me. I’ve repeated it 3 times and still nothing happens
I’m glad I’m not the only one having an issue…hopefully it’s addressed soon.
I’ve got the same issue. I have probably helped kill it 6 times and still haven’t gotten the hero points from it.
Gate of Madness [ART]
It isn’t just that one. I have friends who can’t get random different HP completions!
Same here – killed the champion twice and no reward / skill point completion
Have been trying to complete this for the last 3 days and have killed the frogs many time but still no points awarded.
I’ve had the same issue. Killed him three times in a row and while I’ve received the reward chest, I did not receive the hero points.
same issue, with only this HP left to complete map >_<
Same issue here, hope it gets fixed soon…
Yes, same for me, did this event like 10 times, no update. I indeed got the chest, but no points and the event is still marked as unfinished. The Icon next to the title of the event in my UI also turns green(from grey) as soon as I start doing damage so it seems as if I should be included in the reward.
It’s a minimap issue. When they lowered the hero point req for elite specs down to 250, they made a lot of points easier to get, and also switched the location of that point and the one east of Faren’s waypoint, but did not update the location on the minimap. So that means you need to get that point, which luckily is just a channel.
Yup, Xhyros has it right. Re-do the Hero Challenge to the east of the Faren Waypoint (even if it shows as finished) and you will get an update to your Hero challenges which meant map completion for me. Thanks!
I had the same problem. Doing the other challenge worked. Their minimap icons are switched.
I have the same problem too, please fix it as it is the only thing left in map completion..
Having the same issue on my necromancer. It’s definitel something random, as I did it wtih my mesmer yesterday and that worked fine.
I get to the point, and it says I’ve already earned the HP from it – but it’s on the map as incomplete and in the map legend as the only one I’m missing.
Same issue here, it is a map bug ?
All the other have the icon “earned” except this one, I get the reward but still 10/11.
I’ve done both of these again, but neither one will register being done on my map, so I have 2 Hero Challenges in Verdant Brink that won’t update for me.
My Guardian is standing at the Treacherous Path Waypoint as I type this. The Coztic Itzel Belongings challenge shows that it was completed. Earlier he completed the Hero Challenge at Nobles Ledge and got credit for it. Now, the Coztic Challenge shows complete, but the challenge near Nobles Ledge shows as not completed. When he tried to commune with it again, he can’t.
Seriously, fix this.
this hero point isn’t registering no matter how many times I kill the stupid champion..it pops up saying I kill the guy, though no hero points awarded and the map still says I’m missing that hero point.
Is ArenaNet planning to fix this soon or have acknowledged that theyve seen this bug, or just not caring like with the Ulgoth precursor bug as well?
I’m having the same issue and its keeping me from completing the map. Submitted a bug report in game as well with a screenshot. Any chances of this being fixed soon?
Yeah, stuck at 98% because of this glitch.
It’s a minimap issue. When they lowered the hero point req for elite specs down to 250, they made a lot of points easier to get, and also switched the location of that point and the one east of Faren’s waypoint, but did not update the location on the minimap. Xhyros is correct, I had the same issue and followed this advice a few minutes ago and got full credit now. Travel east of Faren’s Flyer Waypoint and complete the Pact Airship Wreckage Hero Challenge even if you have previously completed it and you will get credit.
Okay so I was missing the frog hero points despite the map telling me that it was another I was missing. You’re right.
