I couldn’t do it before update, as pvp was deactivated, nor after, because i won and the daily didn’t check. Please fix this, how do you expect to have a achievment points leaderboards if players must complete daily successes in the first half of the day ? What’s next ? Hourlies we can only complete in the first half hour ?

Had the same problem, logged late, tried to do my daily, including this one.
Something weird happened, as a new game of crab toss began, we ended up being only 2 players, with 2 crabs.

As I had some advance in score I won (the second crab disappeared after like a minute or two, I guess it was killed). And when I looked, a few achievements later, I didn’t have this one and subsequent wins did not give me the achievement.

As if being forced to play this game every single day to get all the daily achievements wasn’t bad enough, now it doesn’t even work. Crab toss is the worst thing to ever happen to the daily rotation. I was praying it would be removed with the monthly reset, and I’m hoping that has something to do with it, because I’m sick of playing it.

Well all the crab toss achievements are bugged atm.

Just here to chime in that the daily didn’t work after 2 wins.

After 2 wins still no daily… i’m not happy being forced to do this as a daily… and after 3 hours…

Also bugged. No credit. In the screenshot you can see my score on the scoreboard and at the top of the screen. You can also see that I have 0% for my daily at the top right. Please fix this. I detest crab toss game with every fiber of my being, but I enjoy getting achievements. If I’m going to be pushed in to this situation at least get the achievements to give credit.

same issue, I was champion of two crab toss games and the daily achievement did not complete

I also had this problem, won 3 matches and no credit for the daily. I also noticed that I was not getting credit towards the other crabtoss-based achievements in any of the matches.

I just got Daily Champion Crab Toss 3 hours ago with no problems. It was my last one needed, I exited the instance and got daily chest right after.

I won this event for the very first time and didn’t receive my title. Please fix. I took a screenshots because I was so excited. I spent 2 hours trying to win it yesterday before this happened. Please make this right for me.

Won twice today, no daily achievement. Really frustrating since I love this activity sooo much to start with. :/

Yeah, it seemed to work before a patch that happened shortly after daily reset. I really hope this gets resolved before reset tomorrow.

I won 3 games before figuring out it was bugged, i thought i was going crazy and didn’t win. Hope this gets fixed for people going after AP

Going to add that I can also confirm that it is bugged.

I also experienced this bug. The first game I tied for first place, and someone told me I didn’t get the daily and crab toss champion achievements because a tie doesn’t count as a win; but after winning a second time (not a tie for first) without getting the achievements, I realized something was up. I also noticed the Crab Grabber and Crab Carrier achievements stopped tracking my progress.

wish i read this forum post first………For sure it’s bugged…. i just won first place a moment ago and was also met with dissappointment hope they fix this soon

Bugged for me too, really annoying putting all that work into winning and not to have it count for the daily.

Just to add another confirming that I did not get credit for the daily champion a few minutes ago.

Same. I couldn’t get the achive completion from this today. So Anet should remove this from Daily Achivement.

Is there any chance at all that this will be fixed before daily reset. Seems really screwed up to have an achievement leaderboard and then allow some people to randomly get ahead because they did an achievement before it bugged out and blocked progress for everyone else.

Yeah I can confirm did this 3 times now and its still bugged, such a huge waste of my time.

Same for me it didn’t update that I had won the crab toss, I wish I took a screenshot to show. But also the crabs carried and crabs grabbed achievements did not update themselves also. Hopefully it can get fixed before this event ends.

Last night around the time of the first post, everyone was seeing similar failure to increase achievements for Secrets of Southsun as well. It seems to also be the same today. Could it be linked?

Champion and the various dailies were not updating. I took Crab-Carrying Competitor off of my HUD and it increased to 20/300 after about 40+ grabs/carries. Others noticed when they did the same, it increased by a few points, but it wasn’t consistent.

Today, trying the same trick both on HUD and off HUD, it won’t increase. I did get Crab Toss Champion today though after the 3rd win in 24 hours, but daily still won’t update.

This time I have screenshots! But still no actual achievement in the secret of southsun tab for grabs/carries or champion

I can only hope for fix that won’t include doing it again, it’s really hard to get into a match with people who are worse than me

Well, it’s looking like this won’t be fixed today. Really hope they will retroactively credit people with the singular achievement point. I know it doesn’t seem like much but if you have a competitive leader board based on getting these points then limiting players with bugs doesn’t seem fair and should definitely be addressed.

won today 7 times, last win was over 300 points and still did not update my daily….Please give me my achievement point. First the Hints achievement hasnt been fixed for 4 months and now this…

Yeah this is happening for me. I didn’t get Crab Toss Champion for Daily or Secret of Southsun achievement, it took me a long time to win as well.

Was fixed. Fixed 5 minutes before reset. Got credit it for it at literally 1 minute before. Feels really unfair for those that got screwed out of it.

Still broken. Just finished on THIS daily, with 280 something points, no achievement. How about a little acknowledgement, mods? Are you planning to fix this or just remove it, or just leave it in broken. Already got screwed out of yesterday’s.

This bug kept me from getting TWO titles and the Sclerite backpack. I hope they eventually give out the acheiv to those who earned it.

I’ve been playing crab toss and not getting credit for anything for the past couple of hours. No credit for being the crab toss champion, last one with crab (crabtacular), and no advancement on my counts for crab-carrying and crab grabs. Also, no credit for the daily crab toss champion. Please fix this bug and grant me the credit for these achievements. (sea of sorrows)

Crab toss achievements for me are bugged as well. For the last few days, progress has been stuck, and I’ve not gotten credit for the daily achievement. I’ve attached a screenshot of before and after a match where I’ve grabbed 4 times and carried 7, but no change.

First started playing crab toss today, haven’t gotten a single achievement. Others in my groups have said the same thing.

and…. can’t get it again today.

Just remove the daily please. =/

Is there any making good a loss for this? If it’s impossible, this should be removed from daily asap.

This was fixed 5 min before reset on June 1 and a very few players managed to get the Achievement point unfairly! It continued to function until after reset today June 2.
I won 3 Games after the reset and did not get the daily or the associated Achievement point yet again! PLEASE remove this activity from the Daily’s and all associated Achievement points earned while it was Broken. Players Consider it an Exploit when other players gain an unfair advantage due to Poor Programming. I also Scored 20 kegs in the Keg Toss games and did not receive credit for the daily there either so that is 2 Dailies that are broken on the same day.

Both bugged & its truly frustrating missing out on multiple achievement points while others get theirs, especially for those who are competitive for leaderboards

Still not working for me either, and I FINALLY won a crab toss. I certainly hope they intend to extend the crab toss deadline.

Been trying throughout the day. Still not fixed.

I’ve won the Crab Toss and got the Achievement but I did it on day 1.
But like some others, even to this day, the crab grabbing isnt counting. I’ve seen some posts saying you need so many ticks, I nearly won a round with a steal (I had it for a long time). It’s not that.
I was 50/100. played 3 more rounds after I noticed it was going up. got Top Player Grabber 2 of those times with no credit. Even if it has to do with the number of ticks that you need to hold the crab (not the case), why would reward the Top Player Grabber if thats not what constitutes a “grab”.

This needs to be fixed, or at least the titles should be granted if the event won’t be extended. (I have crabtacular, I have the champion).

After playing quite a bit of Crab Toss (enough to get the other achievements twice over), I finally caved and tried to just cooperate with some players to swap Crabtacular wins. However, none of us seemed to be able to accomplish the “achievement”, even though we definitely had everyone except the carrier knocked over at the same time. One of the players mentioned that their grab and carry stats hadn’t gone up all day either.

Furthermore, both my friend and I won Crab Toss today and didn’t get the Crab Toss Champion daily. I won twice, in fact – once from properly playing, and once while we were trying in vain to trade Crabtacular “wins”. It seems like all Crab Toss achievements are completely broken for us.

Any chance on a quick fix/extension of Crab Toss for those of us who would like to complete everything? I’ve been trying at this for days at this point, and now I’m wondering if I’ve actually managed it before now but not gotten credit.

Bugged again. They probably aren’t even fixing it cause it’s such a low priority. =/
