My engineer is my armorsmith. He just made celestial draconic armor, you know, heavy armor that engineers cant wear, for my revenant. Does this all the time.

Attached the new Runes of the Revenant to it.

And at some point, the armor soulbound to him. I went back and checked the recipes, and there is nothing to suggest that should have happened, unless I missed something.

To say the least, I’m a little frustrated, as now I cant give it to my intended character. What the heck soulbound that crafted item to me? And can I get that soulbind broken so I can give it to my intended character?

That’s true. The only exception is ascended armor, which is always account bound.

egads. I’ve been playing since day 1. How the hell did I miss that? And… oh god… I need 5 charged quartz crystals for EACH PIECE of armor

except hasnt it always just ACCOUNT BOUND stuff? Because this soul bound… well it soul bound this exotic gear. I tried the same rune on a piece of trash armor, and it only account bound that. Is that how its supposed to work, vary based on rarity of armor? Because I was just fine with account bound, it was the soul binding that took me by surprise.

unfortunately no. Unlocking skins account binds, but applying upgrades soulbinds. It’s dumb and has remained this way.

I would put a ticket in to support explaining what happened. They might fix it for you.
