Crafter Backpacks Infusion Slot
Agony Infusions have a level requirement of level 80, and the crafted backpacks are level 78. The +5 simple infusion worked because it doesn’t have a level requirement.

That’s what requires fixing, with the removal of simple infusions, that slot is rendered useless.

The attribute ones (mighty, precise, malign, etc. and 5/7/+9 AR) don’t have a level requirement, and so those can go into the crafted back items. However, those are harder to obtain for someone new to fractals, I’d imagine, since they require having 50 stabilizing matrix in order to purchase one.

A ridiculously expensive option is to buy a AR+16 off the TP and break it down into five AR+9/stat+5 in a week or so (when ANet adds that option to INFUZ). (I don’t recommend it.)
Still, I don’t think it’s a bug that an L78 backpack can’t use most infusions. I think it’s an oversight on ANet’s part: they should either remove the infusion slot entirely or convert AR to have a lower level requirement.

Yeah, I agree.

Well, oversights are still reported here, no?

Sure. A moderator will move it if they think it’s a suggestion instead.
