Guild Wars 2

Ok, long story short: I made 231 Seasoned Wood Planks, and went to deposit them into my bank, where I ALREADY had 8 Seasoned Wood Planks stored. I’m no math genius, but 231 + 8 = 239. Imagine my surprise when I double clicked the 231 planks to drop them into the bank, the 8 planks that were already in the bank disappeared, because I ended up with ONLY 231 planks.

Seems to me that the bank is overwriting what data is already there when you go to drop stuff in if there’s an item already in the slot, deleting the item.

Yes, I have restarted the game (FULL restart after a full power down and reboot of my rig, mind). Yes, I have removed the planks to see if the other 8 would pop up somewhere. Yes, I checked my bags (can’t really miss big wooden 2×4′s), with all of SEVEN items in them total. They’re. Gone.

Anyone else experience this issue?

Haven’t seen that one, that’s pretty strange.

I have had though were I told it to refine a stack (well, slightly less than a full stack) of hard wood logs, then tried to switch to my bank, clicking repeatedly in annoyance that I couldn’t look at my bank while it refined the wood. Only to discover that it didn’t put the refined planks into my inventory, nor did chat record my having received them, the whole lot vanished into thin air

I guess at least it was the 8 that vanished instead of the 231?
