Yes, I receive the same error message as well as frequent crashes / disconnects. I’ve only been playing since the game recently went on sale [right after an update none the less] so the only comparison I can make is from my former WoW days, and I can say with certainty & honesty, though they may have been d**** at times, the updates didn’t create any where near the havoc this GW2 update seems to be creating! I think a roll back is in order because someone seems to have coded something incorrectly…

Same here. I just recently came back since about a month after release and I seem to crash with the same details quite a bit and in random places it seems. Sometimes in the city, sometimes in town, sometimes out in the world, sometimes while fighting, sometimes while just standing there.
I’ve been doing random actions as well, like just fighting, looking at what’s in my packs, looking at my skills, or just running along. Sometimes it happens while in the middle of events or even while I’m trying to revive myself.
Since it has that CharMotion directive, could it be a bug with a certain animation while a Char character is running by, fighting or idle that causes me to crash?
It is starting to get annoying and it seems to wait till I get comfortably playing to abruptly crash.
Same problem for me, too. However, it only occurs during I am playing my Asura thief. Therefore I guss that some skills or the low lvl buffood he is using may cause those crashs.

I also get those crashes on my Asura Guardian, and so far only on him. But I don’t use buff foods, so that’s not it.
I’ve also been experiencing the same crashes on my asura warrior, seems a common problem on asuras? All of them happened near the mystic forge, once even when i was afk in another window.

Tonight the game crashed … while i was AFK.
I was away from the PC but screen was in my vision.
I saw the crash popup, without being on the keyboard, without anything moving on the screen, without anything happening in the game.

I can’t even run a single dungeon or make good progress on WvW/EoTM
map completion is also hindered by this crash problem…
The crashes I have been experiencing recently (before the recent living story patch) seems to hit about every 2-5 hours of play. (once I had it 3 times in 30 minutes).
When it does happen, almost everyone nearby crashes. Not just my client, the clients of everyone around me. Because of this, unless you are alone in a private instance, I don’t think being an asura has anything to do with it.
I was playing with TTS last week, they were organizing triple trouble. We had the people required, and were about to assign teams when almost everyone crashed at exactly the same time.
Because of this, I am guessing that anyone who views the character that makes the illegal move crashes. My theory is that the people who didn’t crash but where standing in the same spot had their character limits set lower so their client didn’t attempt to render that illegal character.
The issue happened several times after that. For example. it happened 3 times to me and people around me this morning while fighting near the spider queen in Kessex hills. Both me and my friend crashed at once each time, when I came back I was usually the first one back. I was the only one there where previously 5-15 people were. They slowly trickled back into the game usually.
Edit: I’ve sent crash reports via the automatic system several times but got tired of sending it. Next time it happens I will try to remember to copy the crash details here.
