Hi,

Today I’ve ported to malchors leap and after a while game crashed and every attempt to log back resulted in next crash so my character got stuck.

I’d written a mail to gw2 support and received a solution which should help you resolve this problem.

First being to clear your cache file:

1) Completely close the game
2) Go to temp folder by going to start/run, type in temp and hit enter
3) Browse to the folder gw2cache-(guid). Example: “gw2cache-(50641E0B-3AD4-1601-081E-6450D43A0116)” 4.. Delete the whole gw2cache folder

Next is to delete more cache files directly tied to the launcher and updates:

4) Hold down the Windows button on the keyboard and hit the “R” key.
5) Paste in the following line: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2 Click “OK.”
6) Delete the local.dat file located here.

7) Hold down the Windows button on the keyboard and hit the “R” key.
8) Paste in the following line: C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\bin
9) Highlight every item in the folder, right click, and select delete.

You will also want to clear your Recycle Bin.

Finally,

10) Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
11) Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
12) Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Repair.”
13) Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
14) Edit the “Target” line to include -repair at the end. Note: Please make sure -repair is outside of the quotes -- Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” -repair -- Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe -repair”
15) Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes. If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try Step 5 again.
16) Right-click “Guild Wars 2 Repair” and select “Run as Administrator.”

Allow the repair to run and once completed, right-click" “GW2.exe” or your Guild Wars 2 Shortcut and select “Run as Administrator.”

Once completed, please try starting Guild Wars 2 again.

That should be all. I hope It will be helpful and if it doen’t help try to contact support.
