I bought a $10 pack of gems last night and used some of them was going to exchange what was left over from what was bought and noticed that the currency exchange didn’t show the market data and that clicking on either of the tabs in that screen did nothing. I have restarted the client several times and it still has this same problem.

Some of the advice someone posted at https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Black-Lion-Trading-Company-issue/first#post4309146 could potentially be helpful, in case you haven’t read it yet.

EDIT: In addition to the above, I’ve heard that setting Internet Explorer as your default browser can help remedy some loading-related issues regarding the trading post, but I’ve never tried doing that myself.

Even if true, this is something that will never be happening on my computer. Ever.

Shouldn’t need to. The issue is that GW2 spawns a third party browser (awesomium) and that application also needs special privileges to one or more special folders in your system. The easiest way to ensure this is to run GW2 with admin privileges (details in the technical forum sticky).

Once in a while that special folder gets corrupted and needs to be deleted (and there are instructions about that, too, in a sticky post in the tech forums).

Failing that, contact support; they will get you straightened out quickly.
