I read the patch notes on the October 23 update. I then logged on after work and went to cursed shore my farming haven. Noticed grenth was up so i took a walk to see where it was and too no surpice its still glitched at the cannon yet again. Here is the list of updates for events they did.
EVENTS
There is a skritt burglar on the loose in Tyria! Adventurers that encounter this thieving rodent are encouraged to confiscate whatever loot they can shake out of her.
•Added over 30 events across the game.
•Fixed a stuck event chain in Straits of Devastation.
•Fixed a blocking bug in the event “Defend the Leaders of Caer Evermore from the Risen” in Timberline Falls.
•Fixed a potential blocking bug caused by the event “Destroy the Risen broodmother to free Rakkan” in Cursed Shore.
•Fixed a potential blocking bug in the event “Rescue Scholar Alil Rodez” in Lornar’s Pass.
•Fixed a bug preventing Siege Master Marith from collecting catapult parts in Kessex hills.
•Fixed a bug preventing Tactician Footi from setting up her cannon in Cursed Shore.
•Fixed a bug preventing skritt from being driven out of Nentor’s Mine in Lornar’s Pass.
•Lengthened the time between events when attempting to hold Arah and made repeated attempts at holding Arah more difficult.
•Lengthened the time between events when attempting to hold the Temple of Grenth.
•Lengthened the time between events when attempting to hold the Temple of Melandru and made repeated attempts at holding the Temple of Melandru more difficult.

You will notice that they fixed
•Fixed a bug preventing Tactician Footi from setting up her cannon in Cursed Shore.
Nope not at all still glitched.
I admire your work and everything but still not working. Btw this is on Northern ShiverPeak YET AGAIN.

Grenth chain still bugged on Sanctum of Rall as well, stuck on Footi…

excuse my cynicism but when are the dynamic events in cursed shore NOT bugged? I stopped going there ages ago when I realised i’m wasting my time running to an event only to find out almost every time, there are no npc’s and nothing happening.

maybe one day they will fix all the issues with cursed shore dymanic events, but I wouldn’t count on it being any day soon since many people are still not 80 yet.

This is very well documented on this forum, however, I too and very tired of this. The events are awesome when they are working, but since they are linked they all go down if one gets hosed up. They need to stop cranking out halloween costumes and parties and start fixing the meat of their game. This is a high level area to reward those players that worked to get to level 80, however, it’s current state is not very rewarding at all. Just some visual fluff with broken quest chains, tons of bots, and excessivley dense forests of erratic enemies.

Until these are fixed, could we maybe take the vendors and put them near another way point? I’m trying to get the set of exotic heavy armor from the melandru karma vendor, and I know a lot of other people just need the vendors up to get their armor.

Soooo, until you all figure out what the problem is, can we at least do that as a temporary solution? Feels like the players are being punished for something that we cant control. Doesn’t seem fair or reasonable to have to wait for weeks or possibly months for a bug-fix. Maybe dont link armor vendors to meta-events?

edit: are there any servers that melandru is not bugged on? id be down to transfer just to get my gear and then transfer back

Posted another thread about this, didn’t see this one sorry. It’s bugged in Crystal Desert as well.

Bugged on Eredon Terrace as well. Have had the quest to kill Zhaitan for like three weeks and never get the chance to do it cause of this #$@#!
