What is with the disappearing hair in this game? If I wanted a bald toon I would have made one….

Yeah, this is why i decided not to use it. I’m actually thinking of just throwing it away.

I imagine it was done like that because it was the easier way of avoiding clipping, rather than going through each hair style and manually coding each of them for the hat. But it really looks incredibly stupid.

What wrong with bald chicks?

I don’t know. I just figured I was going out as a Sinead O’Connor witch for the night.

On a more serious note, what would be nice is if they came up with a simple ‘hair up’ to show behind hats like that. LotRO did it eventually with their hats, like the wide brim pirate hats and cowboy hats. Originally there, they had this make shift flap to kinda hide that you were bald. And it was quite awhile before we go that.

I attached a screenshot of my old character. See how her hair is just done ‘up’ into the hat? I’d think that’d be the simplest solution.

I like how Anet moved this to the game bug forum, even though it’s not actually a bug…
