Guild Wars 2

The problem I’m having is that when any type of cutscene starts (i.e. personal story cutscenes or even dungeon cutscenes the dungeon part is important for later on) I’m stuck in the transition between gameplay and into cutscene. To describe it, its like when you turn off the HUD, you’re now unable to move in anyway shape or form, nor you can press Esc to skip the scene and you can’t use chat or check any other form of in game menu.

So my only option in the matter was to CtrlAltDelete the game so I relaunch the client. For the personal story it kicked me out of the instance so I can’t advance into any personal stories.

For the dungeons it was weird, when a cutscene came up I lost control of my character and I saw my party members moving around but I wasn’t able to do anything. So I continued to forcefully close the game and restart the client and I was back in thankfully my party was kind and understanding and didn’t kick me. Two painfully long hours into the dungeon with me having to continuously close the client forcefully over and over on each cutscene. We made it to the final boss and killed it there the final cutscene. At first I was like “I got this I’ll just close, restart and get my tokens, exp, karma, etc”. As I re-logged back in, I didn’t get no reward for all my hard work, I got nothing (not counting my mob drops). It left me feeling empty and angry.

So can I get any help?

I have the exact same problem with the new patch. I can’t advance in the story, so this is pretty much a game breaking bug for me as well.
