Guild Wars 2

Poor Applenook Village (just outside Lion’s Arch in Gendarran Fields) is on fire, and I can’t put out the flames until the Pirate Waves are defeated.

Problem being that the event is stuck on 7/8 waved defeated. Pirates DO come (at a very slow pace), but after 15 minutes or so it was still on wave 7 of 8, where it was when I entered the event.

I came to the forums here to report it, and got sidetracked for about a half hour with replies to other issues. When I re-entered GW2, we were still on 7/8.

Well welcome to the bugsections. in order for the dev’s to look into the bug it is important to tell you on wich server you experienced this

Borlis Pass. Can’t they see the flames? Or is all the black smoke and drifting ash obscuring them? I pulled the fire alarm myself.

But it’s too late. Nothing left to do now but sift through the ashes and move on with shattered lives.

I just experienced the same issue on Aurora Glade. It’s currently still at 7/8. Here’s the interesting thing I noticed. The cutthroats that are supposed to attack the center of the village where villagers stand are instead just stuck attacking barrels on the borders of the village, behind the houses. I tried to walk around and kill every one of them, no luck. Maybe I didn’t find some of these stuck guys.
